Methyl Chavicol Ex Basil (Estragole)
We offer a comprehensive range of Methyl Chavicol (Estragole), found in essential oils of basil (23–88%), pine oil, turpentine, fennel, anise (2%), tarragon and Syzygium Anisatum. These are natural organic compounds with chemical structure consisting of a benzene ring substituted with a methoxy group and a propenyl group. This is a colorless to pale yellow liquid, and is a double-bond isomer of anethole.
